Organic Avid Testing (OAT)

Metabolic and nutritional testing assess nutrition deficiencies. Additionally, these tests identify imbalances and defects in biosynthesis or breakdown of certain substances. One of the test, the Organic Acids Test (OAT) is a measure of intestinal yeast and bacteria. High levels of certain microorganisms can cause or aggravate certain conditions such as behaviour disorders, hyperactivity, autism, movement disorder, fatigue and immune health. Using the results, imbalances may be treated in an individualized manner using therapist such as supplementation, herbal medicine or dietary modification.
